Everyone deserves a MASSIVE congratulations and well done for completing the Vietnam Cycle Challenge! It’s been an incredible week but a huge challenge with scorching temperatures, some gruelling hills and high humidity but everyone has dug deep and showed true grit and determination. And they’ve raised an INCREDIBLE amount of vital, life-saving funds for MAG!

Day four of the bike ride and the team dug deep to get to the top of some pretty intense hills!! Battling the heat which continues to be scorching, they showed their commitment and kept those pedals turning.

Beautiful scenes today through the rural hillside villages between Khe Sanh and A Luoi and across part of the Ho Chi Minh Trail. A few undulations here and there but nothing the Bikes Against Bombs team couldn’t tackle!

Second day in the saddle done! The team started the day with a visit to meet the incredible staff finding, removing and destroying deadly items in Quang Tri and witness the work they are supporting first hand.

Then it was onto the hills under scorching temperatures of over 40 degrees and 80% humidity to make it to Khe Sanh. A tough day but the team showed their resilience and dedication and really rose to the challenge. Onto the next!

The team have completed day one of the Vietnam Cycle Challenge, riding from Hue to Dong Ha in temperatures of 37 degrees Celsius 🤯 it’s hot and humid as expected but everyone is motivated and ready for day two! #BikesAgainstBombs
