Taking on extreme challenges around the world

The team behind Bikes Against Bombs raise vital funds for MAG (Mines Advisory Group), a global humanitarian and advocacy organisation that finds, removes and destroys landmines, cluster munitions and unexploded bombs from places affected by conflict.

This vital work means women, girls, boys and men can work, play, walk and live free from fear and communities the opportunity to rebuild their futures.

The team have just completed the 2023 cycle challenge, riding over 400 hot, smoggy and hilly kilometres from Chiang Rai in Thailand to Luang Prabang in Laos over five days.

Stay tuned for details of the 2024 challenge, coming soon…

About MAG

Every day, 19 people are killed or injured by landmines and unexploded bombs. Half of civilian casualties are children.

MAG finds, removes, and destroys landmines and unexploded bombs in places affected by conflict. Since 1989 we have helped over 20 million people in 70 countries rebuild their lives and livelihoods after war.

Every landmine and deadly weapon taken out of the ground is a life saved, an injury prevented and a community given an opportunity to flourish.
